Do You
Need A Fence
Permit?
Any new residential or commercial fence project with a finished fence height over 30″ will require a fence permit. Most building permits can be processed on line if your property meets the approved DPP guidelines.
Now, If your property is on a corner lot, in a flood zone, oceanfront or enclosing a pool (See DPP website for property restrictions) you will be required to submit plans and fence details to the department of planning and permitting. This process can take some time. Plan ahead! We can handle the permit process for you.
